June 4th - August 12th, 2023

Compensation: 
The ME3 REU Program is an all-expenses paid summer research experience.  Participants will receive a summer stipend of $5,000, travel sponsorship and/or reimbursement, state-of-the-art on-campus housing, and a summer meal plan.  The program will also cover a health insurance supplement for access to on-campus health clinic facilities.

Programmatic features: 
In addition to the professional and skills development activities (below), the ME3 REU Program will offer social events coordinated with 20+ other REU Programs on the University of Minnesota campus.  These social events may include trips to the Science Museum of Minnesota, a Minnesota Twins Baseball Game, the Guthrie Theater, and other local highlights.
